Guild Wars - Get Ready!
No-holds-barred community war!
With the first Season of Open Beta coming to an end this weekend, and still half a month before the second Season starts, we’ve decided to cook up something special.
In order to celebrate the successful conclusion of the first Season and thank our many guilds for their participation, we’re holding a special Guild Wars event before the start of Season 2!
Tournament Rules
We will send a brand new game package to the Guild Wars contestants to participate in the event. They will also each be added to their own team channel in our Discord.
All weapons, maps, and talents are open in this game package.
All weapons are SSR, but without Divine Stewards.
Regular gameplay rules apply.
There are 16 slots available in the Guild Wars. 12 of the slots are available for registered guilds, whereby guilds with higher Open Beta guild points are given preference in acceptance.
Each guild can only register one team, with the guild leader in charge of assembling and submitting the team.
The remaining 4 slots are reserved for special guests, e.g. communities who did not get a chance to join the Open Beta.
All matches are best of 3, except for the final which is best of 5.
There is a 2-minute break after each game.
Participants are strongly encouraged to record their gameplay to provide evidence in case of crashes or other issues. Also, to show off your skills on Twitter and Discord!
If a match encounters a crash or connection issue, a rematch will be considered. Other bugs will be evaluated based on our data and player recordings.
Timeline
Registration: August 11th, 12:00 UTC - August 15th, 10:00 UTC
Announcement of participating teams and match schedules: August 15th, 12:00 UTC.
Match Schedule:
Round of sixteen (16-8): August 16th-17th, 4 matches per day, best of 3.
Quarter-finals (8-4): August 18th, 4 matches, best of 3.
Semi-finals (4-2): August 21st, 2 matches, best of 3.
Finals: August 23rd, 1 match, best of 5.
Battle times for each will depend on the locations of both teams. We will aim to maximize convenience where possible and choose the best time from the same slots we use during Open Beta (02:00 UTC, 12:00 UTC and 18:00 UTC).
Prizes
Champions: 12 Discount Whitelists + 3 SR Genesis Weapons.
Runner-up: 10 Discount Whitelists + 3 R Genesis Weapons.
3rd Place: 5 Discount Whitelists + 3 R Non-Genesis Weapons.
4th - 8th: Each team receives 3 Discount Whitelists - a total of 15 Whitelists.
9th - 16th: Each team receives 1 Discount Whitelist - a total of 8 Whitelists.
Total Prize Pool: 50 Discount Whitelists + 6 Genesis Weapon + 3 Non-Genesis Weapons 👀

Livestream
